Reserve Pinot Noir
Wine
Narkoojee Reserve Pinot Noir is sourced from estate plantings grown in the cool climate and deep alluvial soils of central Gippsland. The fruit is hand harvested.
The grapes are crushed and fermented with wild yeasts, in smaller vessels where possible to allow hand plunging rather than pumping over. Post ferment, the wine is pressed and racked to new and one year old French oak barrels to age for 12 months.
Cherry red, Narkoojee Reserve Pinot Noir is richly flavoured and complex with spicy French oak and a long finish. Cellaring potential is seven years.
